NOTE BETTER: Vocational training qualifications are made up of individual subject units. Some are known as Core units and are compulsory to undertake. Others are known as Elective units, and there are usually a wide range of subject units to select from. The importance of this is, the skills you will learn should be aligned with the position or industry you are wanting to enter or develop your career further in.

Vocational training is training for a job. AD1 College work with industry to support our Learners and ensure they are exposed to training/ work on the job. You are not just sitting at a desk listening to a trainer. With us you are an active contributor to your Learning and along the way increasing your industry network.

We established AD1 College (since 2009 - ) with the idea to sync the needs of today's Workers ( including undertaking meaningful work, freedom of expression, independence and community involvement) with the needs of Employers (including hiring committed and loyal Workers, with a core focus on customer engagement, and who are willing to follow direction under limited supervision). 

We realised that there is a meeting point where the needs of Employers and Workers can both be met and this is where an understanding from both parties of WHY the Employer is in business and WHY the Worker would want to work there and their purpose -  what is it that they want to achieve.​
